The design is related to the complex of buildings of Louvre in Paris which occupies the plot between the Seine Embankment and Rue de Rivoli. The old east part of the palace is surrounded with a ditch. We suggest that this ditch should be turned into a recreation place. We suggest that high grass in trays – maize and sunflowers – should be planted in the ditch; and places for picnics and recreation of tourists and Parisians should be organized. On the whole, the space resembling a park maze must be obtained. The design was awarded Diploma of a finalist of “DIA. Design Innovation Awards 2005” competition, in the nomination of “Architecture”.
